Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Dumpling Drop (the "App"), provided by RC Digital LLC ("we", "us", or "our"). By using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) to use the App. By using the App you confirm you meet this requirement.
2. Your account
When you first launch the App we create an anonymous account on your behalf. You may later choose a public username and an optional display name. You are responsible for maintaining the security of the device on which the App is installed. We are not liable for actions taken from your device by others.
You may not:
- Use a username or display name that impersonates another person, brand, or system role (admin, mod, support, etc.). We block obvious cases automatically and may remove others on report.
- Use the App on multiple accounts to evade blocks, bans, or trade limits.
- Sell, transfer, or attempt to monetize your account or its contents outside the App.
3. Virtual items have no real-world value
Dumplings, in-game currency, and any other virtual items in the App:
- Have no monetary value. They cannot be redeemed for cash.
- Are not your property. You receive a personal, revocable, non-transferable license to use them within the App.
- May be modified or removed at our discretion (e.g., to balance gameplay, fix bugs, or remove items obtained through exploits).
- Cannot be traded outside the App. Off-platform trading or sale is prohibited.
If you purchase in-game currency through Apple's In-App Purchase system, those purchases are governed by Apple's standard refund policy. We do not process refunds directly.
4. Trades between users
Trades are between two users only. We provide the matching infrastructure but are not a party to any trade. You are responsible for the items you choose to offer. Once a trade is accepted both inventories swap atomically; trades cannot be undone by us after acceptance, even if you change your mind or believe you were misled. Disputes between users should be resolved by the users involved, or via the in-app Block / Report features.
5. Reporting and blocking
You can report users who you believe are violating these Terms or behaving abusively. We review reports at our discretion and may remove users, content, or items in response. Reports are not visible to the user reported.
Blocking another user prevents both of you from finding or interacting with each other in the App.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract the App's source code, except to the extent permitted by applicable law.
- Use bots, scrapers, or automated systems to interact with the App.
- Exploit bugs or unintended behavior to obtain items or in-game advantages.
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any third party's rights.
7. Account termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Termination may be without notice in cases of severe abuse (harassment, fraud, automated abuse).
You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account in the App. Deletion is permanent and immediate.
8. Intellectual property
The App, its artwork (including AI-generated images of dumplings), text, and design are owned by RC Digital LLC or licensed to us. The name "Dumpling Drop" and the dumpling mascot are trademarks of RC Digital LLC. You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App. You do not acquire ownership of the artwork or other content.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RC DIGITAL LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE APP WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD $25.
Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations; the limits above apply only to the extent permitted by law.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the App evolves. We will post the new Terms at the same URL with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after a change constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.
